The first thing we did upon arrival to Yosemite is some freestyle rock climbing to get warmed up for our backpacking trip

We then did stretches, got pumped up, had prayer, and started hiking up the John Muir trail.

We went about 5 miles to the backpacker's camp.

At camp, we set up tents, ate Top Ramen, brushed our teeth, and put all our food in the Bear-box.

The next morning, we slept in.

We did some log walking and headed back across the bridge over Nevada Falls.

On the way back, we took the mist trail next to Vernal Falls.

The Gustafsons found a nice resting spot on the mist trail. When we got back, we saw a buck at the trailhead.

The next day we explored the valley by bus.
